Rustic Apple Galette: Easier Than Pie, Just as Delicious

🛒 INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 2/3 cup sugar

  • 2 eggs Zest of 1 lemon

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup milk


👩🍳 INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well.

  3. Mix in lemon zest and juice.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.

  6. Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 40–45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  7. While the loaf is still warm, mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over the top.

  8. Let cool, slice, and enjoy every bite.
